I visited your office on Saturday and arrived when there were already two people ahead of me, making me third in line.
The first customer being helped had a complicated situation involving an expired insurance policy, fines, an out-of-date registration, and several related issues. The representative behind the counter patiently explained the situation multiple times to both the customer and her mother, who was helping pay for everything. The process took over 30 minutes, and during that time your computer system also went down temporarily. Fortunately, the system came back online, and the representative was able to resolve the matter and send the customers on their way satisfied.
The next customers were a young man and his new wife, who appeared to be there for a change of address or a similar transaction.
When it was finally my turn, I needed to transfer the title and register an older vehicle I had purchased in New York. Everything went smoothly, and the process was completed without any problems.
I wanted to recognize the young woman working behind the counter. She remained professional, patient, and helpful throughout the entire time I was there, despite dealing with a lengthy and complicated customer situation as well as a temporary computer outage. She did an excellent job assisting everyone and deserves recognition for her outstanding customer service.

Excellent service. They clearly explained the process of transferring my license plate from New Jersey to Philadelphia. Since my vehicle was financed, they ordered the title from the bank, which took about 25 days. They called me to let me know it arrived, and I went there, and they completed everything the same day. I spent about $15 to order the title from the bank and $334 for the transfer.

Super Professional! I had a very complicated title transfer to accomplish (from an individual to a legal entity called a “trust”) that two other auto tag places in Philly weren’t willing to do (because of their lack of knowledge concerning how to do it, I suppose) but at Johns Auto Tags, the office manager, Page, had absolutely no trouble at all, and in fact did the entire title transfer in less than 20 minutes. Went in for car registration services. Whole thing took maybe 7 minutes from walking in the door, to walking out with my new license plate in hand. Office staff was so friendly and we made jokes about sharing the same work-music-playlist. Saved me a long ridiculous wait at the DMV with the typical rude, lifeless staff you’d expect to find there.
Took driving lessons here a few months ago, and my road test. There isn’t much to do with vehicle legalities that this place hasn’t helped with, and they’ve proven time and time again that they are the best!
